Tautog's Restaurant concept was created in an effort to provide customers with a unique dining experience combining quality seafood products, with distinctive customer service in an inviting coastal area setting.  Come find us at 205 23rd Street in Virginia Beach's resort strip area!

Tautog's is now open for dinner from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm Sunday, Monday and Thursday, and from 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm Friday and Saturday. We are currently closed Tuesday and Wednesday evenings.  

Reservations recommended but not required. Please call 757-422-0081.

"A Virginia Beach Must Do"

“We love Tautog's and are so happy they have "weathered the storm"! We absolutely can't go to Virginia Beach without a meal there. This time it was fantastic starting with some oysters and then on to my very favorite Stuffed Flounder in a bag. Chris is a an awesome server and steered my wife to the salmon salad which she absolutely loved. As yes, I stole some of her steamed shrimp!”

“Our first visit to Tautog's. Sat on the porch, terrific setup and service all evening. Ordered the Shrimp & Jalapeno Cheese Grits. Well seasoned and the grits were creamy with perfect level of kick, really complemented the shrimp. And it was all naturally gluten-free (I have Celiac so this was really important). My husband ordered the catfish po'boy sandwich and really enjoyed it. Servers were attentive without hovering. Can't wait to go back!!!”

“Always outstanding. Fine dining with a beachy, casual atmosphere. Ordered and received exactly what I wanted. Cup of soup of the day—omg. Mushroom and asparagus. Hard giving up the she-crab soup but made a good choice. Wanted only one “appetizer” crab cake. Too much lunch for full meal. Accommodated, as always, even tho not on the menu. Husband’s tuna outstanding. Drinks were wonderful. Best part of the meal experience, tho? Our cute as a button server, Jessie. Sprite, happy, accommodating, professional. Great place!”
